Workshop Details
Join us for an immersive weekend of watercolour painting. Grow your skills and knowledge of the human face, either for its own sake or for portraiture.
The workshops are held in Cherry’s own well equipped art studio in the quiet picturesque location, of Tallong NSW. Students can indulge their passion for painting and learn valuable new techniques by watching demonstrations of every aspect of the process.
Start your weekend on a delightful note by joining us on Friday at noon for a short orientation session and a delicious home cooked lunch.
We will acquaint you with the Studio, your bedroom and the facilities.
Afterwards, spend the afternoon preparing your Work-Space and drafting of the face ready for painting.
All painting materials required for the workshop will be provided.
You will also receive two sheets of Arches Aquarelle 300gsm, 56cm x 76cm to take home even if you only paint on one sheet.
Painting Sessions:
On Saturday and Sunday, demonstration from 9.30 then painting 10am to 4pm, with intermittent demonstrations as required.
Your day includes a well-deserved hour-long lunch & free time.
Additionally, if your travel plans permit or require, you are welcome to stay Sunday night. Our talented chef will ensure that you never go hungry, with an abundance of delicious food served for lunch and dinner. The next best thing to real expresso coffee is Nespresso which we have on tap along with a variety of teas.
BYO wines and special dietary requirements. We provide vegetarian options. Please let us know well in advance.
Individualized Attention:
With only three students in each workshop, beginners or experienced artists will receive tutoring to their level and requirement, allowing you to enhance your artistic abilities and expand your knowledge.
Comfortable Accommodation:
Relax and unwind in your private bedroom, furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed. The bathroom, shared with only two other women, is conveniently located nearby, ensuring the utmost amenity. A separate room houses a toilet and vanity, providing privacy.
To secure your spot in the workshop, we require a $500 deposit. The total cost of the workshop, including accommodation and meals for two or three nights, is $1250. We will provide you with our bank details for a hassle-free transaction.
