Exclusively for three students, this workshop is suitable for all levels of ability, including complete beginners.

Enjoy an immersive weekend of watercolour painting. Grow your skills and knowledge of the human face, either for its own sake or for portraiture.

The workshop is held in Cherry’s own well-equipped art studio in the quiet picturesque location, of Tallong NSW. Students can indulge their passion for painting and learn valuable new techniques by watching demonstrations of every aspect of the process.

Arrival & Orientation

Start your weekend on a delightful note by joining us on the Friday after 1pm. We will acquaint you with the studio, your bedroom and the facilities. Afterwards, spend the afternoon preparing your work space and drafting the face ready for painting.

Materials

All painting materials required for the workshop will be provided.

You will have a choice of beautiful AI generated images to paint. You will also receive two sheets of Arches Aquarelle 300gsm, 56cm x 76cm to take home even if you only paint on one sheet.

Painting Sessions

On Saturday and Sunday, demonstration from 9.30 then painting 10am to 4pm, with intermittent demonstrations as required.

Lunch

A well-deserved hour-long lunch period and free time.

Meals

Self catering in the beautiful big fully equipped modern kitchen. The next best thing to real expresso coffee is Nespresso which we have on tap, along with a variety of teas. BYO wine.

Individualized Attention

With only three students in each workshop, you will receive tutoring to your level and requirement. allowing you to enhance your artistic abilities and expand your knowledge.

Comfortable Accommodation

Relax and unwind in your private bedroom, furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed. The bathroom, shared with two other people, is located nearby, ensuring utmost comfort. Next to the bathroom is the laundry through which you can access the studio direct from your bedroom and vice versa. Next to that is a separate room housing a toilet and vanity, providing privacy and convenience. Additionally, if your travel plans permit or require, you are welcome to stay Sunday night.

Fees and Confirmation

To secure your spot in the workshop, we require a $600 deposit. The total cost of the workshop, including accommodation and meals for two or three nights, is $1450. We will provide you with bank details for a hassle-free transaction.
